Itinerary

Upon your arrival, proceed to the outside of airport terminal. Our representative will wait for you to take you to the hotel which taking around 20 minutes. Please look for your name which will be shown on signage.

Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Morning after breakfast at hotel sightseeing tour of Swoyambhunath Stupa and Basantapur Durbar Square.

SWAYAMBHUNATH STUPA: Said to be around 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa sits atop a hill. The main stupa is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire crowned by a pinnacle of Copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. The hill of Swayambhunath is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples. You’ll get a scenic view of Kathmandu city from there.

Basantapur Durbar Square: Known as Kantipur, is the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. A 218 square miles of land, situated above 4400 ft above sea level, Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's traditional culture and arts. Kashtamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka, Seto Machendranath and the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.

Rest of the day at leisure for trek preparation and last minute shopping.

Early morning transfer to airport for your flight to Lukla with packed breakfast.

Fly Kathmandu-Lukla. Trek to Phakding.

Lunch en-route
