Itinerary

Welcome to Nepal! Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu (Thamel or nearby area). Rest and acclimatize after your flight.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu (Dinner included)

Early morning; proceed to Pashupatinath Temple (Lord Shiva's holiest shrine in Nepal). Participate in the special Panchamrit Puja (offering of five nectars: milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar) performed by authorized priests for blessings, karma removal, and spiritual progress.  Next, visit nearby Guheshwari Temple (dedicated to Goddess Parvati, a powerful Shakti Peeth). Continue to Boudhanath Stupa – the massive Buddhist stupa, a UNESCO site, where you can circumambulate, spin prayer wheels, and soak in the serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, drive to Budhanilkantha Temple (north of Kathmandu) to behold the magnificent open-air reclining statue of Lord Vishnu (sleeping on cosmic serpent Sheshnag in a sacred pond) – one of Nepal's most beautiful and peaceful shrines.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu (Breakfast and dinner included)

Early breakfast and depart Kathmandu (~3–4 hours scenic drive along Prithvi Highway to Kurintar, base of Manakamana Cable Car). Enjoy views of Trishuli River, green hills, and distant peaks. Arrive at Kurintar and take the famous Manakamana Cable Car ride (2.8 km, ~10–15 min, stunning aerial views of valleys and mountains). Reach the hilltop and walk to Manakamana Devi Temple – the wish-fulfilling goddess shrine where devotees offer prayers for fulfilled desires. Perform darshan, offer prayers, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance (queues longer on weekends/Saturdays; early arrival recommended). After darshan and lunch (vegetarian options available at top or bottom station), return by cable car. On the way back to Kathmandu, stop at Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) – ancient hilltop stupa with panoramic city views, sacred monkeys, and Buddhist-Hindu harmony.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu (Breakfast and dinner included)

After breakfast (depending on flight time), free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. (Meals: Breakfast)
